For clients

If you are building a detached house, renovating, or modernising an existing property, on this page we have summarised how we work and what you can expect if you start out with us.

Step by step

01

Getting in touch

You tell us what you need using the form, by phone or by e-mail. A few sentences are enough to start – the details can come later.

02

On-site survey and consultation

We look at the conditions, discuss your ideas and clarify what is realistic technically and in terms of cost.

03

Itemised cost plan

You receive a breakdown by trade of what costs what, and how much of it is materials and how much is labour. This is the basis of your decision – not a verbally estimated figure.

04

Schedule and contract

Once the cost plan is accepted we put together the project schedule, and we sign the contract on that basis: we set down the technical content, the deadlines, the payment schedule and the warranty terms.

05

Construction

Organising the work, coordinating the trades, procuring materials and day-to-day site management are our job. We walk the site with you regularly, and you are kept informed about where the work stands and how we are moving on.

06

Handover

A joint walk-through, settling the snag list, documentation and warranty. We do not disappear afterwards either: for warranty matters you keep the same contact person, and we repair our own faults at our own cost.

What is worth preparing?

  • The address of the property and any available plans: architectural, structural, mechanical and electrical plans, and an unpriced bill of quantities (if one has been prepared).
  • The intended schedule: when you would like to move into the property.
  • If you already have an idea about certain details of the technical content (e.g. solar panels, heat pump, floor and wall finishes, doors and windows, heating), write it down – if you do not, we will help with that too.

What you can expect

  • One responsible contact person for the entire duration of the project.
  • An itemised cost plan and a technical content set down in writing.
  • A clean, tidy site throughout the construction.
  • Warranty and guarantee in line with statutory requirements, and the manufacturer's warranty on the materials installed.
